Norman Solomon is an American journalist, media critic, author and national director of the highly effective RootsAction, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to galvanizing people who are committed to economic fairness, equal rights for all, civil liberties, environmental protection, and defunding endless wars. He is a longtime associate of the Media Watch group, Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR), and in 1997 he founded the Institute for Public Accuracy, which provide outside-mainstream news sources for journalists, and he serves as its executive director.
Norman offers a deep dive into the history and machinations behind the current wars that the US is involved in. This is information you will NOT find in mainstream news sources.
He is the author of a dozen books, including Made Love, Got War and War Made Easy: How Presidents and Pundits Keep Spinning us to Death, which was made into a film narrated by Sean Penn. Norman has appeared on many TV shows, including PBS News Hour, CNN, C-Span’s Washington Journal, Democracy Now, and several other news programs.
