Nathan Robinson is the editor of Current Affairs Magazine and is a political columnist at The Guardian. His work has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The New Republic, The Nation, Al Jazeera America, Salon, and several other publications. He has also appeared as a commentator on NPR and BBC Radio. Robinson holds a JD from Yale Law School and is presently a PhD student in Sociology and Social Policy at Harvard University. He is the author or editor of ten books including Trump: Anatomy of a Monstrosity and Why You Should Be A Socialist. His most recent book, “The Myth of American Idealism: How U.S. Foreign Policy Endangers the World,” which was co-authored with Noam Chomsky, and will be the subject of our interview.
