Georgia Kelly founded Praxis in June 2000 at the end of a conference she organized for Pathways to Peace, a Marin non-profit. She has created several conferences on peace-related themes in the US and Europe and organizes annual seminars at the Mondragon Cooperatives in Spain. She has directed think tank projects for Praxis, edited and co-authored “Uncivil Liberties,” and teaches conflict resolution workshops. She has developed programs and conference content for eight separate conferences and continues to direct events at Praxis. In her previous career, she was a harpist, composer, and recording artist.

Alana Coburn is a business consultant who has worked with small businesses in developing and executing marketing plans. She has implemented health care curriculums and co-produced many events and conferences. Her current focus is providing program development and project management services in the non-profit sector. Previous to working with Praxis Peace Institute, she was Senior Director of Marketing Services at the San Jose Convention & Visitor’s Center and was the Owner Principal of Living Well Productions in Petaluma, CA.
